Steps for the Ultimate CoWash:

• Section your hair into 7-10 parts before washing.
• Detangle each section using a wide-tooth comb or your favorite wavy hairbrush, working from ends to roots.
• Fully saturate each section with water.
• Apply conditioner generously to a 1-inch section at the bottom of the install. Detangle with a Denman brush, starting at the ends and working up to the roots.
• Repeat for all sections until the hair is fully detangled and feels smooth ("slip").
• Twist hair into a bun or braid and let the conditioner sit for 15-20 minutes. Avoid massaging the hair to reduce frizz.
• Rinse thoroughly, scrunch for enhanced waves, and dry with a cotton T-shirt, microfiber towel, or cotton hair towel (avoid regular bath towels, as they cause frizz).
• Apply a dime-sized amount of smoothing oil or glossing polish if desired for extra shine and frizz control.

Daily Care

• Brush or comb through the hair to style, starting from the ends and working upward.
• Use an alcohol-free glossing polish or hair serum for shine and frizz control, but avoid overusing products to prevent stiffness or buildup.
